WTF are these?!?
We've got these things growing on our Oak tree in the front yard.
They are about the size of one of those small "superballs".
Does anyone know what they are? They are actually growing on the tree, but they don't look anything like acorns, and even if they did, the tree is too young to grow acorns yet.
Any ideas anyone?? (click on the picture to see a larger version!)

Call Dad and ask him to look at them. I have seen them before but have no idea what they are...
