My Little Sleeping Beauty
After supper I went to the bathroom for a few minutes and Jason was on the phone, so Olivia was left sitting on the rocking chair watching a favourite TV show of hers. I came out about and went to the kitchen for a few minutes before I went back into the Living room to see how she was making out. See what I found!
The rocking chair was turned away from Jason so he thought she was just laying there watching TV. Since this is a normal position for her, I can't blame him for not noticing.
Normally her bedtime is 8pm, but since it was already 7:15 I just took her upstairs and put her to bed. She woke up for a minute or two when I was changing her diaper and getting her PJ's on, She asked to go back downstairs but she was asleep before I finished 2 pages in her favourite "princess book".Here are a few more pics. The close ups!

Those are soooo sweet! Is she still having her screaming fits?
No, she stopped those when we stopped giving her naps... We figured out that she only screamed at night when she slept through the day, and if we tried to put her down during the day she screamed then too...
Soooo... we decided to try skipping a nap or two and see if it worked. It did. Which sucks for me because once the baby comes I'm going to need her to be napping more then than ever before... But there's not much you can do when they're ready to give the nap up. I might try napping her once or twice a week now and see if that works. Obviously she is quite tired or she wouldn't have passed out an hour before bed time...
Happy side note - I figured she'd be up earlier than usual this morning, but she never even STARTED talking until 8:30 this morning, so completely normal time...
Well that's good. If she doesn't nap you could insist on rest time or Mommy rest time or some cutesy name at the usual nap time and it would be well established by the time the baby comes. I'm sure it will all work out.
